Wellington International Airport (IATA: WLG) is located in the suburb of Rongotai in Wellington, New Zealand. It is the major airport servicing Wellington, New Zealand's capital city, and is a secondary hub and focus city for Air New Zealand and its subsidiaries.

Wellington is the third-busiest airport in New Zealand (after Auckland and Christchurch), with a total of 5.021 million passengers and 111,000 aircraft movements in 2008. The airport, in addition to linking to many New Zealand destinations by national and regional carriers, also has links to major cities in eastern Australia and Fiji.

The airport is located on a small 110-hectare (270-acre)site on the Rongotai isthmus, a stretch of low-lying land between mainland Wellington and the Miramar Peninsula.
